Vegan Cookery Workshop

As part of this year's Taste of the Teign Festival, Perrylicious is holding a vegan cookery workshop. Learn how to make tasty vegan and gluten free food including sweet potato scones, mushroom stroganoff, choc chip cookies, victoria sponge cake and a glorious dessert based on a Middle Eastern dish called Muhallabi, which is a fragrant almond milk chilled custard with pistachios, almonds and a twist of orange blossom. Shaldon Zoo's popular Fun Day is back this autumn. As well as games, there'll be a chance to learn more about the animals with keeper talks and an opportunity to help feed the meerkats. There's even a chance to meet the star as well as watch the show for £15. Regular tickets cost £12. Luke Friend was a finalist in TV's The X Factor in 2013 where he finished in third place.

You'll follow in the footsteps of 'early man' as you create bone necklaces, wall paintings and cave signs, which you can take home with you. The workshops are suitable for children age 5-10.
